Man sought by Toronto cops after removing monitoring bracelet

Toronto Police are looking for man wanted for failing to comply with his release order after he removed his monitoring bracelet.

On Tuesday, Peter Murphy, 35, of Toronto, was granted release by the courts for multiple sexual assault offences.

A condition was that Murphy had to wear a GPS monitoring bracelet at all times.

On Wednesday, police say Murphy removed his GPS monitoring bracelet in the area of Keele St. and Gilpin Ave.

He is described as 5-foot-8, 141 pounds., with black hair, and brown eyes.
