A homicide investigation was underway early Tuesday after a man was fatally stabbed at an apartment on Saratoga Place in the south end overnight, the Ottawa Police Service said.
Officers found a man and a woman with injuries when they were called to the address at about 1:30 a.m., police said.

Saratoga Place is off Bridle Path Drive and south of Hunt Club Road.
The man died of his injuries and was pronounced dead in hospital, police said, adding that “updates will follow.”
On Sunday, police said that officers were investigating reported gunfire on Saratoga Place Saturday night. No one was found with injuries when officers were called to shots fired at about 10:30 p.m. An investigation was ongoing.
