Manitoba RCMP seizes large amount of cash, drugs in highway traffic stop

Two traffic jams in one week caused theManitoba RCMP to seize large amounts of drugs and cash.

Police said on the afternoon of July 28, a roving traffic patrol stopped a speeder on Municipal Highway 1 in Portage La Prairie, but the driver was killed by a British driver from Columbia. I only discovered that I had an outstanding warrant.

A man from Calgary was arrested and a search of his car found approximately $28,000 in cash.

He moves to British Columbia returned. He is scheduled to return to Manitoba on October 18 for his courtroom at Portage la Prairie.
