Carlos Almeida, 36, is accused of robbing businesses in Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.
A Maple Ridge man is facing robbery charges in relation to a string of robberies spanning three municipalities in Metro Vancouver.
RCMP said two fast-food restaurants in Port Coquitlam were robbed on June 13 and 16, while three businesses in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows were robbed on June 15, 17 and 18.

In June, Ridge Meadows RCMP said it had combed through video surveillance and identified Carlos Almeida, 36, as a suspect in its investigation.
Investigators from Coquitlam RCMP also identified Almeida as a suspect in its robberies.
Court records show Almeida is a prolific offender with a criminal history dating back to 2011, mostly in these communities. He is charged with five counts of robbery.
His next appearance in Port Coquitlam provincial court is on Oct. 3.
