“Metallica’s M72 world tour will see the band playing two nights in every city it visits —with each No Repeat Weekend featuring two completely different setlists and support lineups,” a news release by promoter Evenko says.
“The M72 tour will feature a bold new in-the-round stage design that relocates the famed Metallica Snake Pit to centre stage, as well as the I Disappear full-tour pass and the debut of discounted tickets for fans under 16 years of age.”
For the North American leg of the tour, opening acts for the first show are Pantera and Mammoth WVH. Five Finger Death Punch and Ice Nine Kills open the second night.
Tickets for individual shows go on sale on Jan. 20, but fans who want to buy two-day tickets can do so as early as this Friday — Dec. 2 — on Ticketmaster.
