We’re into the final few days of the MLB regular season. Here’s some player prop picks to consider for October 3rd.

LAD Trea Turner over 0.5 stolen bases +400 (DraftKings)

The speedy Dodgers shortstop may not steal bases at the same rate he did when he was younger, but he still has 27 thefts on the season. He gets a good matchup tonight against a Colorado Rockies team that is allowing .64 stolen bases per game in 2022. As the saying goes, “you can’t steal first base”, but that might not be an issue for Turner as he’ll face Rockies righty Jose Urena who has a 1.62 WHIP.

MIL Hunter Renfroe over 1.5 total bases +120 (bet365)

Renfroe has always been known as a lefty-masher and this year has been no different. It may be a small sample, but Renfroe is slashing .351/.441/.596 at home this season against southpaws. He’ll face Diamondbacks lefty Tommy Henry tonight, who has allowed a .476 slugging percentage to righties this year. This sets up as a great spot for Renfroe at plus money.

SEA George Kirby over 5.5 strikeouts -130 (DraftKings)

The Mariners are still battling for the potential to host their AL Wild Card series at home in Seattle. Tonight, they will begin a home series against the lowly Tigers. Sure, Detroit has been playing well of late, winning eight of their last 10 games, but they are still a team that has only won 65 games on the year. Kirby is extremely talented and has a very good matchup against a Tigers active roster that has struck out 24.4% of the time against right-handers this year. Look for the Mariners rookie to shine in this one.
