San Luis Obispo, CA — Officers typically prime suspect. In this case, it is the primate suspect.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department believes it was a small capuchin that he called 911 from the zoo last Saturday night.
The call was disconnected and the dispatcher tried to call and text his message back but got no response, so a representative was dispatched to investigate, the Secretariat said.said in a social media post.
Address turned out to be Zoo to You near Paso Robles.
They eventually deduced that a capuchin monkey named Route picked up the zoo's mobile phone. This cell phone was in a golf cart that was used to move around the property.
"Capuchin monkeys are said to be very inquisitive, grabbing everything and starting to press buttons," and an office post.
