Montreal police are investigating after a gunman was shot in an alleyway in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough early Friday morning.
A police spokesperson said officers responding to a call that a gunshot was fired near the intersection of the Esplanade and Mont-Royal just before 5 a.m. found a used cartridge in an alleyway. rice field.
No one appeared to have been shot and no arrests had been made, a spokesperson said, and boundaries were set to allow investigators to investigate what happened.
