A family in New Zealand unknowingly purchased a suitcase at an auction in a storage facility and found a human body in the bag. Found some stuffed.

Police in Manurewa, South Auckland, were called home after a horrifying discovery was made at a family home.

Det.-Insp. Faamanuia Vaaelua told staff that residents "brought property they didn't own to their address."

Several neighbors reported a ``bad smell'' coming from the property before police arrived. A neighbor who was in the area said the smell was instantly recognizable.

``I knew right away. An investigation has been launched to discover.

Next of kin will be notified, but officials acknowledged that it would take time given the "nature of the discovery."

The unfortunate auction winner is not believed to have been previously involved with body parts.
