Finley Downer was bitten on both legs by a shark after entering a lagoon and seeing sharks swimming in a crowd, according to his father. Michael told the British Sun. the fox.
Finley did not realize that the shark was being fed a scrap of food before entering the water.
"My son could have been killed," Michael Downer, he told The Sun. "It was a scene from Jaws."
"There was too much blood. Part of my leg was hanging."
Fortunately, Finley's sister Pulling him out of the lagoon, he survived after undergoing his three-hour operation in hospital.
His leg will be permanently scarred.
The tour operator says the family was not part of the tour and entered the lagoon without a guide.
