Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was thought to have torn the left anterior cruciate ligament during the Super Bowl LVI.
Only free agents do not believe it.
Beckham, who joined world champion Los Angeles Rams from the Cleveland Browns in the middle of the 2021 season, tweeted that he had been injured before the big game on Saturday night.
"Crazy thoughts ... really played the whole second half of the season without the anterior cruciate ligament and won the Super Bowl! God won't miss, I'm Sway," he wrote.
Beckham tore the same knee ACL as Browns in October 2020, underwent surgery and returned to the 2021 season. On November 12, the Rams signed a one-year contract a week after being released from Cleveland, as their relationship with quarterback Baker Mayfield deteriorated.
He was believed to have suffered a new injury after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 at the Super Bowl LVI on February 13.
In the second quarter, Beckham went to catch the pass, but dropped his pass after awkwardly moving his left knee. He grabbed his knees down the grass and Rams training staff immediately accompanied him in the field.
He caught a touchdown in the first quarter for the game's first score and ended up with two catches at 52 yards.
In the three Pro Bowl selections, there were 305 yards of receive and five Rams touchdowns in eight regular season games.
He held 531 receptions with 7,367 yards and 56 touchdowns in 96 games (91 starts) against the New York Giants (2014-18), Browns (2019-21) and Rams. I am.
