Right fielder Mookie Betts and left fielder David Price have returned to the Los Angeles Dodgers by visiting the San Diego Padres prior to Sunday's series finale.
Betts, 29, is back from the 10-day injured list after missing 15 games due to a broken right rib. He has hit .273 with 17 home runs and 40 RBIs in 60 games this season with five All-Stars. He is expected to play second base after returning to Japan until the pain subsides with a throw from the outfield.
Price, 36, missed three games on his family's emergency medical list. There is no decision on the 5 All-Stars, and there are 3.20 ERA in 19 rescue appearances this season.
To make room for the 26 roster, the Dodgers appointed right-handed Ian Jibout and infielder Eddy Alvarez as Triple A Oklahoma City.
28-year-old Jibout was claimed exempt from the Cleveland Guardians on Thursday, but he didn't play in any of the Los Angeles games.
Alvarez, 32, played 14 games against the Dodgers and hit .160 with 3 RBIs.
