An Ohio man has been charged after he allegedly groped his 16-year-old stepdaughter on camera during a virtual class.
David Lowe, a registered sex offender, was wearing only underwear when he crept up behind the girl and “rubbed his crotch against the back of her head,” alleged Lt. Tom Walker, of the Berea Police Department, according to WOIO.

The incident happened on Sept. 28 — in front of her teacher and classmates at the Ohio Virtual Academy, police told the outlet.
“The teacher seeing this obscene behavior reached out to our department and knowing that the student was attending online here at her home in Berea made us aware of what she had seen,” Walker said.
The online school issued a statement offering resources to students following the alleged assault.

“Ohio Virtual Academy is aware of the unfortunate incident last week and immediately reached out to the parents and the appropriate authorities,” Kristin Stewart, the head of the school, said.
“As a rule, OHVA always offers students access to licensed school counsellors and the availability of outside clinical staff through our partnership with Syntero for any further mental health supports needed by students.”
Local police reminded parents to remain vigilant of what is happening with their children online.
“See something, say something,” Lt. Walker said.
Lowe, 52, was charged the following day with sexual imposition. He pleaded not guilty and posted a $50,000 bond.
