Toronto Police say they have responded to reports of shootings near Weston Rd. Around 3:30 am on Tuesday, Lawrence Avenue.
Two victims were found at the scene with gunshot wounds.
A police officer began CPR on him without his vital sign, but died on the spot.
Paramedics in Toronto said a second victim was taken to a trauma center in critical but stable condition.
No information about the suspect has been released and the area is closed for investigation.
