A man is in the hospital after a shooting in Bedford, Nova Scotia. Wednesday night.
Police were called to Duke Street near Bedford Commons Shopping Mall around 11:00 pm. For reports that gunshots hit the vehicle and the people in it.
When police arrived, they found a white pickup truck that looked like it had been shot, and a man with an obvious gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury, but requires surgery.
Police say this is not considered a contingency and there is no ongoing risk to the public.
Bedford police patrols, criminal investigation departments, forensic identification services, and members of the K-9 are involved in the investigation.
