An Ontario police death investigation found that a doctor already indicted for murdering a patient was also accused of killing three of his patients. At Hawkesbury and District General Hospital, where he was accused of first-degree murder.
Dr. Brian Nadler, 35, of Ormeaux, Dallard de Quebec, was arrested Wednesday, he said, the OPP said.
New charges link the deaths of Claire Briere, 80, of Rigaud, Quebec, Lorraine Lalande, 79, of Hawkesbury, and Judith Lunggrescu, 93, of East Hawkesbury Township. They do, police said.
On 25 March 2021, his OPP personnel in Hawkesbury were called to the hospital after the 89-year-old patient was declared dead. Police said an investigation confirmed several other deaths at the hospital.
Nadler was charged with first-degree murder in the death of his 89-year-old Albert Peudinger inPointe, Quebec, in Clare.He was sentenced to in 2021. was released on his $10,000 approval in July.
The Hawkesbury Detachment's criminal unit is continuing its investigation under the direction of the military's Criminal Investigative Division, he said Wednesday.
