A collision occurred late Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Snake Island Road and Branchfield Road near Osgood.
Ottawa firefighters free driver trapped in car after car crash in South Ottawa .
The Ottawa Fire Department responded to a call for assistance shortly after 5:00 pm. Tuesday following a collision at the intersection of Snake Island Road and Branchfield Road near Osgood.
Firefighters used a special hydraulic system to stabilize the vehicle and free the trapped driver. The driver was released in seven minutes.
A spokesman for the Ottawa Emergency Medical Service said two people, in their 90s and 20s, were treated. Both were in Ottawa Hospital Civics.
