Ottawa police hate and bias crime unit asking for help to identify man, woman in alleged assault in Stittsville

The Ottawa Police Service says its hate and bias crime unit is looking for the public’s help to identify two people allegedly involved in a reported assault in the Old Stittsville area in October.

After an alleged “road rage” incident between a vehicle and two people on a motorcycle at about 9 p.m. on Oct. 11, the motorcycle followed the vehicle to a gas station, police said.

The female rider is alleged to have first confronted the male driver and then assaulted them.

She is described as a white woman in her late twenties with a slim build and long, dark brown hair, police said. She wore a beige and white striped shirt, a black jacket, blue jeans and white running shoes and carried a black motorcycle helmet.

A second suspect is described as a white man in his late twenties with a medium build and a shaved head. He held a black motorcycle helmet and wore a black hoodie, a black jacket, torn blue jeans and black and red running shoes. He had several tattoos on the side of his head and on his hands, police said.
