Ottawa police seek witnesses to fatal collision on Carling Avenue

Police investigators are seeking witnesses to a collision that led to the death of a woman in her 60s.

The Ottawa Police Service said the collision involving a pedestrian and a black Honda Accord occurred Wednesday at about 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of Carling Avenue and Scrivens Street in the city’s west end.

The woman was transported to hospital, but died there on Thursday, police said in a media release on Friday.

The statement added that investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or might have dashcam video of the incident and had not yet spoken to police.
