San Diego Padres purchased a right-handed Taylor Scott contract prior to Sunday's series finale in the fight against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
A left-handed raker was optionally chosen for Triple A El Paso to make room for Scott on the active roster.
Also, right-handed Kyle Tyler has been assigned a mission to make room in the roster of 40 people.
Scott, 30, has only played 13 games in the major leagues. All posted 14.33 ERA by Seattle Mariners and Baltimore Oriole's in 2019. He recorded 3.48 ERA in 26 rescue appearances in El Paso.

Tyler, 25, has also made seven major league appearances, two of which were played four scoreless innings this season.
