South Korea's Song Jae-im and rookie Brandon Wu line up for the top of the leaderboard at the Wyndham Championship, which was interrupted by dangerous weather in Greensboro, North Carolina on Saturday.
In the third round on Saturday, play saw him suspended twice. The first was at 12:20 PM. ET and 2nd at 4:15 PM. At the Sedgefield Country Club. The first delay lasted him one hour and five minutes before the round restarted.
The 74 players who have not yet completed Round 3 will resume at 7:30 am on Sunday. The final round tee times will consist of threesomes from a split tee starting around 10:15am local time.
Im and Wu entered the tournament at 12-under halfway through the third round. Lim went 4-under on 11 holes that day, and Wu went 3-under on 11 holes.
With John Huh and Joohyung Kim right behind at 11-under, six players tied him for fifth at 10-under, just two shots behind him. His one of those golfers, Thailand's Kira Deku Afiban Rat, jumped up the leaderboard after finishing three rounds with his 7-under 63.
I had bogeyed on the 11th hole and he had four birdies when play was suspended. Lim is aiming for his third PGA Tour victory.
Wu recorded a bogey on his second, but when play was suspended he made two birdies and he made an eagle on the eleventh. Wu is looking for his first tour win in his 36th appearance.
Will Zaratris also finished the round, scoring 66 to put him at 7-under to tie for 15th. Zaratris parted ways with caddy Ryan Goble after Friday's second round.
"This was the most difficult decision of my golf career," Zaratris said Saturday. ``Ryan is a brother for life. You know how it was, especially the timing, but I think it just made it a little unhealthy for both of us.It obviously hurt."
