A 34-year-old male driver was arrested on suspicion of dying due to impaired operation of the vehicle.
RCMP after a passenger's death in a UTV rollover accident on Sunday under investigation. In the Lake Country of Okanagan.
RCMP was informed of the accident at the Spioncop Trail in the area of the Summit Trail around 4am.
A UTV passenger, a 34-year-old man, was sentenced to death on the scene. The driver, also a 34-year-old man, was arrested for dying from a vehicle malfunction and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Lake Country Fire Department, British Columbia Ambulance Service, Central Okanagan Search and Rescue Team and Kelowna RCMP Forensic Identification Service supported this investigation.
RCMP Watch Commander Tammy Rob said in his statement: "Our idea lies in the victim's family during this difficult time."
BC Coroners Service is investigating and the victim's identity has not been disclosed
