Tabler spent 17 seasons as part of the network’s Blue Jays broadcasts.
The 64-year-old played parts of three seasons for Toronto, and spent 12 years in Major League Baseball as a first baseman, third baseman, and outfielder.
He retired from playing after helping the Blue Jays win the 1992 World Series, the first in Toronto franchise history.
Tabler says that it has been an honour to serve Blue Jays fans first as a player and then as a broadcaster.
