Ottawa — Patrick Brown's leadership campaign is the latest to raise concerns about what is called a "misleading" email sent to party members by his major rivals.
Brown's National Campaign Co-Chair John Reynolds today sent a letter to the Conservative Party of Canada's Leaders' Election Organizing Committee, Pierre Poirievre, ahead of last month's sales deadline. Requested to investigate emails sent from the campaign. $ 15 membership to supporters.
In order to vote for the next leader of the Conservative Party, the party said supporters must register as members by June 3.
Poilievre's campaign has sold nearly 312,000 on its own, including about 119,000 members of Ontario.
However, Reynolds' letter is new after Brown's campaign receives what looks like an "official-looking warning" from Poilievre's team that membership status is incomplete. Claims to have received "many complaints" from members who said they purchased membership. The
email clearly states that it is from the Poilievre campaign.
