Quebec — Four weeks later, Patrick Roy looks back Finished: He will be staying at Quebec Remparts for another year.
Former NHL goalkeeper announced on Monday that he will return as general manager and head coach of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team in the state capital.
On June 8th, after Lempert was eliminated in the QMJHL playoffs, Roy said he would like to take the time to think about his future. Roy is back as the team finishes the 2021-22 season with a record of 51-15-2 and looks promising for the next season.
"Winning is a dream," he said, and that dream was taken from Ramparts.
Last month, Roy blamed civil servants for his team's exclusion, and on Monday he suggested that civil servant team management might be ripe for new voices.
