Paul McCartney is in mourning after his beloved brother-in-law, John Eastman, passed away at the age of 83.
The Beatles singer, 80, said Thursday night that a high-profile music lawyer lost his battle with pancreatic cancer.
John died of breast cancer in April 1998 at the age of 56. Paul's first wife Linda, who was Eastman, was McCartney's brother. It is among other significant projects in his music career.
McCartney shared the news of his death with a lengthy message along with a photo of the two of them doing yoga poses together.
He said, It is a very sad time for me and our family as we have known each other for over 50 years. One of the kindest and smartest.”
McCartney continued his compliments. His sense of humor always shined through in everything he did, and his devotion to his family was supreme.
