An hour later, a woman was seriously injured in another collision.
A man in his 60s died on Tuesday after he was hit by a vehicle while crossing Laurentides Blvd. in Laval.
Laval police said the victim was declared dead on the scene shortly after the collision around 4:30 p.m.

About an hour later, another collision happened on Cartier Blvd. A woman hit by a car was transported to a hospital with severe injuries. The driver was treated for shock.
Investigators were called to both locations to determine the cause of the collisions.
