Until Sept. 30, select Vancouver customers who place an order via the Pizza Hut app may have their pie delivered directly to their doorstep by a robot.
“We’re always looking for ways to enhance our customer service and deliver hot, fresh and delicious menu favourites to our customers,” said Manish Dhankher, director of operations at Pizza Hut Canada. “Pizza Hut is thrilled to be at the forefront of this technology and partner with Serve Robotics to bring this offering to Canada for the first time.”
Pizza Hut on 1725 Robson St. in Vancouver was selected as the first location for the pilot.
Customers picked for robotic delivery will be able to use the Pizza Hut app to track the robot’s location.
