Pointe-Claire makes a splash in a park project

Pointe-Claire's new splash pad will open in Augusta Park next year.

The construction of the 130m2 splash pad at Augusta Park will be divided into two parts. A comfort station with a toilet and a changing room will be built between July and September. Splash pad installation will take place between August and November. The splash pad along Delmar Avenue, south of Hymus Boulevard, is scheduled to open in the spring of 2023.

At the June Council meeting, a $ 568,686 contract was signed for the construction of the splash pad (fence, 3 picnic tables, concrete trails, 2 street lightposts, 2 shades). Includes $ 414,162 for structural installation and construction of bathrooms and changing rooms.
