Police Charge 4, Search Suspect in Forced Confinement Investigation at Hamilton's East End

Four people have been charged and one is missing in the forced confinement case at the easternmost residence.

According to Hamilton Police, an investigation was launched Monday around 10 a.m. Oriole said a man running along the Crescent was suffering from visible injuries. is what they said.

Detectives said the man was lured to the residence by an "old acquaintance" who had picked the victim up from his home on Sunday and eventually dropped him off at an address on the eastern edge of Hamilton. I suspect that

"The victim woke up in a basement and was tied to a chair, where he was attacked by multiple people."

The man was able to free himself and rushed out of the mansion to call for help from bystanders.

He was taken to hospital for treatment after he was encountered by arriving police answering a riotous call.

Four of his suspects were eventually arrested at a nearby home, all facing multiple charges including forced confinement and armed robbery.

Two of his four are men in his early twenties, and two of his are his 48-year-old female and her 37-year-old female.

Investigators say they have also identified a fifth suspect in him who is being sought for involvement.
