A man from Cambridge, Ontario has been charged with stealing gas for stolen cars.
Guelph Police investigators say the man drove to a gas station on Speedvale Avenue in his Kia girlfriend's SUV, which was stolen on June 2.

He pumped gas and attempted to pay using several prepaid credit cards, according to the report, which only covered part of the cost.
Investigators were able to identify and arrest the suspect through surveillance video.
A 37-year-old man was charged with possession of stolen property, theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, and driving while suspended.

He appeared before a bail hearing on Tuesday.
