A recent report of a man who died early in the morning of June 29 is treated as amurderinvestigation. Regina Police Service(RPS) has confirmed that this is the sixth murder in Regina in 2022.

Around 2:20 am Wednesday, police said in a statement that they had found a man who was confirmed dead after being sent to 1200 blocks on Ray Street.
"Patrol officers secured the scene and requested additional resources such as theforensic identification unitand Coroner," police said.
RPS said the deceased man is a young man and will not disclose his name at this time. As the investigation continues, police say they will announce details as soon as information becomes available.
