Montreal police are investigating a suspicious death today after the body of an adult man was found in a trash can on the eastern edge of the city.
Police said that around 8:50 a.m., Ochelaga of the city received a call that a body had been found in the Maisonneuve district.
An unidentified corpse was found by a garbage collector.
Police said a man was confirmed dead at the scene and a perimeter was set up to allow investigators to work.
Sergeant. Police are still trying to determine the cause of death, according to Veronique Comtois.
She said she did not rule out all possibilities, including accidents and criminal acts.
