Police found the body of a man who had fallen into the Wallau River in Loudon

The victim had lost his foothold on the rocks of Cascard Park before being swept away by the stream.

A man in his twenties, who fell missing on the Ouareau River in Rhodon, Lanaudière, was found dead by a diver in Quebec on Saturday morning.

According to SQ spokesman Stéphane Tremblay, the victims had lost their foothold on the rocks of Cascard Park before being swept away by the Friday stream.

An SQ helicopter was also dispatched to the scene, but the search was interrupted by nightfall.

The search continued on Saturday morning. SQ divers have located their bodies around 10 am.
