Police thank public for helping them arrest two in Toronto robbery investigation

Toronto police are thanking the public for help arresting two suspects wanted in a robbery investigation.

On Saturday at 2:08 a.m., police received a stabbing call in the Woodbine Ave. and Norway Ave. area after a man and a woman allegedly broke into a residence.

Cops say they were confronted by the tenant and the man and woman, who were armed with knives, attacked the tenant, who suffered serious injuries

On Tuesday, at 7:30 p.m., police received information that both parties were together in the Danforth Avenue and Cedarvale Avenue area.

Christopher Chisholm, 38, of Toronto was arrested and charged with break enter and commit robbery with an offensive weapon, disguise with intent , utter threat of death or bodily harm , assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon, assault with a weapon, possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon and aggravated assault.

Amy Halliday, 30, of Toronto was arrested and charged with break enter and commit robbery with an offensive weapon, disguise with intent, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon, and aggravated assault.
