Quebec's police suspecteddomestic violence and murder in Sainte-Marte Wednesday night. Two people were confirmed dead in a residential area. Sur-le-Lac in the De Montagne region.
Local police received a 911 call at approximately 11:45 pm. A police officer dispatched to a house on Rue Des Mélèzes found the corpses of his 70-year-old man and his 30-something woman with serious injuries.
Later, authorities found a 42-year-old man seriously injured in the car and taken to hospital, where he later died.

Quebec Police ( SQ), officers found at least two children in the home. They were turned over to state youth protection services.
Police are unable to confirm whether the children witnessed the violence or the relationships between the individuals involved. Police will also confirm the current condition of the 70-year-old man and clarify whether the car that found the 42-year-old man was parked at the residence or elsewhere.

The case was handed over to SQ by the local police of Lac des Deux-Montagnes.
