Quebec school bus drivers demand higher wages

A school bus driver said that for each route he is requesting an increase of $7,000, which will go towards his salary, union representative José Dube said. .

The average annual salary for a driver is $20,000, and some drivers are already looking for another job, Duvet said.

Drivers in many areas of Quebec refuse to renew their contracts with school service centers due to lack of funds.
