The hosts Texas Rangers broke out of their overall batting slump Thursday afternoon in a 10-3 win over the Oakland Athletics in Arlington, Texas, with home runs from Mark Matthias and Nathaniel Lowe.
With this win, the Rangers won his series division four games after dropping his second straight game.
The Rangers were limited to five total runs in his first three games of the series until he had his 10th hit on Thursday.
