On Thursday, it renewed its appeal for public assistance and released two images of a suspect.
“It is important for the public to be aware of these incidents and to report indecent activities to police,” said spokeswoman Cpl. Alexa Hodgins. “This behaviour is particularly disturbing as the store was busy with patrons that included children.”
The man is described as white, 40 to 49 years old, 5 feet 9 inches, medium to heavy build, bald, with a light brown moustache beard.
At the time of the incident, the man was wearing a Black Nike shirt, dark cargo shorts, and black and white sandal slides. At one point, he was seen carrying bath mats in the store.
Anyone who recognizes him is asked to contact Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550.
