Regina SWAT team arrest leads to multiple firearms charges

Regina Police Servicearrested a 31-year-old man Wednesday night with the help of gangsters, patrols andSWAT. He is wanted with a warrant across Canada.

Investigators said an investigation found the suspect at his Regina mansion on Seventh Avenue.

They added that SWAT had come to the aid of him because the police believed he was armed.

Shortly after 6pm, two adults and children left home without incident, both adults were taken into custody, but only one was charged.

Police said they found a severed Remington 12-gauge shotgun, 12-gauge shotgun ammunition, and he .22-caliber ammunition in the building.

Officers suspect Colin Pratt was in possession of a firearm without a license, and that he had been charged with carrying out the crime. Possession of a prohibited firearm, including ammunition, negligent use of a firearm, tampering with the serial number of a firearm, possession of a firearm against an order three times, possession of ammunition against an order three times, 3 times.

Pratt appeared in district court Thursday morning.
