New York Jets offensive tackle Mekhi Becton limped off the practice Monday with an apparent knee injury, ESPN reported.
His first-round pick in the 2020 draft had surgery to repair his right knee after sustaining a dislocated patellar and spraining his MCL in the opening game of the 2021 season. he missed the rest of the season.
Becton, 23, was activated from the unfit list when the Jets opened his camp training at his park in Florham, New Jersey last month. In his rookie season, he started 13 of 14 games at left tackle. He has transitioned to right tackle this season, with George Fant on the left flank.
