Moscow — Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Tuesday that no troops had been sent to Ukraine to fight in Russia's “special military operations”, Russian state news agency TASS reported.
President Vladimir Putin had previously stated that the draft would not be sent to Ukraine, but the Pentagon admitted in March that many recruits had taken action in the conflict zone.
