According to the Ministry of Emergency Affairs of Ukraine, a Russian missile attacked a nine-story apartment near Odesa, the port of the Black Sea in Ukraine, killing at least 14 people and injuring 30.

The ministry said in a statement that the missile attacked a building in the town of Bilhorod-Donistrovsky around 1 am (Thursday 2200 GMT). In addition, a fire broke out in the attached store building.

Odesa local government spokesman Serhiy Bratchuk said rescue operations are underway as some people remained buried under rubble after part of the building collapsed. I told the state television.
