BRUSSELS — Serbian and Kosovar leaders failed to reach a resolution at a crisis meeting in Brussels on Thursday, but agreed further talks over the next few days to resolve tensions between the two countries, they said. EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said.
“Unfortunately, no agreement has been reached today (…) But this is not the end of the story.
"There is still time until September 1," he told reporters in Brussels after meetings with Serbian President Alexander Vučić and Kosovar Prime Minister Alvin Kurti. We will not give up,” Borrell added, referring to the deadline for the license plate dispute between Serbia and Kosovo. (Reported by Sabine Siebold, Benoit Van Overstraten, John Chalmers)
