The stretch of Highway 1 is expected to be closed for several hours
A car crash west of Salmon Arm in the community of Tappen has closed Highway 1 in both directions on Sunday night.
According to Drive BC, the incident is at the intersection of Ford Rd. and Highway 1. Detours are in place. Drivers are being told to take Highway 97, Highway 97A and Highway 97B instead.
