York Local Police said a man was injured in a shooting at a hotel in Thornhill on Wednesday.
Around 11:00 pm, an emergency call was made to the Liberty Suites Hotel, reporting a shooting incident.
A man showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound, police said.
He was later transferred from the hospital to a trauma center, where he is in a stable condition, according to paramedics.
