Minnesota Lynx didn't always build much this season.
I have it now.
Lynx will showcase one of the best performances against the Chicago Sky on Wednesday afternoon in Minneapolis.
Lynx (7-15) has won four of the last six games since he recorded five consecutive losses.
"We all thought this was possible," Minnesota coach Cheryl Reeve said after the Las Vegas Aces 102-71 defeat on Sunday.
It was the biggest margin of victory this season for Lynx, who scored the highest 32 points of his career from Aerial Powers.
“We need to bring the same strength throughout the game,” says Powers. "We know where we are. We are fighting for (higher spots in the rankings). That's why we keep us moving."
Meanwhile, defending champion Sky (15-5) has won five games in a row after Phoenix Mercury fell 91-75 on Saturday. Allie Quigley cast 19 points to lead the five Sky Players in double digits.
Having many sources of attack against Sky was a luxury all year round.
"I'm just trying to do something to complement the other players," said Chicago rookie Rebecca Gardner, a reserve guard who scored 10 points against Phoenix. I did. "I'm coming in and trying to see what the team needs."
