The incident is the second stabbing Durham cops have investigated in the past three days.

Earlier – in the unrelated incident – investigators released photographs of a male suspect from a stabbing Friday morning at about 6:30 a.m.

Officers responded to the violence that flared near Dunlop Street East and Brock Street South.

That is where they located a 51-year-old male with life-threatening injuries.

The victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma center.

The suspect fled eastbound from Dunlop Street.

Investigators are still looking into the motive for this incident.

The suspect is described as a short male with a small build. He wore all black clothing.
