A Surrey massage therapist has been charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a client while he was treating her, said RCMP.
On Nov. 14, Surrey RCMP received a report from the female client who said she was sexually assaulted by a massage therapist during treatment at a clinic located in the 13700-block 96 Avenue.

Surrey RCMP’s special victims unit investigated and police arrested Gudbjartur (Bodhi) Haraldsson on Nov. 25.
The 50-year-old was charged with one count of sexual assault.
He has since been released with conditions, including a prohibition on providing any personal or professional therapeutic services including massage therapy to women.
Police also released a photograph of Haraldsson, who goes by Bodhi, as it investigates further. Anyone with information is asked to contact Surrey RCMP’s special victims unit at 604-599-0502.
