CALGARY — Alberta police watchdogs are investigating a shooting involving a police officer who took a man to hospital in Calgary's Radisson Heights neighborhood.
Police called him to his 1500 block on 35th Street S.E. About 10:00 pm Friday calls about armed men acting erratically.
Calgary Police say officers spotted the suspect shortly after arriving at the scene, but "rapidly changing dynamics" caused one of his officers to fire his weapon. He said he did.
The man was taken to hospital, but his condition is stable.
No officers were injured.
The Alberta Critical Incident Response Team has completed its mission and is investigating.
